illustrate
The M272 is a bidirectional, single-pole, single-throw, normally closed small footprint package on tiny 4 multipurpose solid state relay pins. It is designed as a cost-effective alternative to reed relays in low voltage applications. The relay consists of an integrated driver circuit and two robust source-to-source depleted DMOS transistors - optologically coupled to a light-emitting diode. The output MOS transistor is protected with a freewheeling diode that can handle inrush currents up to 1.5A, making the lamp ideal for switching relays and highly inductive loads.
