MAX4032 5V, 6dB video buffer

description

MAX4032 5V, 6dB video buffer with synchronous head clamp output SAG correction, low-power shutdown mode in tiny SOT23 and SC70 packages. The recessed-corrected output MAX4032 is designed to drive AC coupling, with 150Ω back-terminated video loads for portable video applications such as digital camcorders, portable DVD players, digital camcorders, handheld computers, video-enabled phones, portable gaming systems, and laptops. The introduction of SAG correction features lowers the low-frequency compensation for two small, cheaper 22μF capacitors, and the typically bulky and expensive AC coupling capacitors of 330μF. The input clamp locates the video output waveform and allows MAX4032 to be used as an AC or DC coupled output driver.

MAX4032 operates from a single +5 V power supply, consuming only 6.5 mA of power current. The low-power shutdown mode can reduce the power current to 150nA, making it an ideal choice for low-voltage, battery-powered video applications MAX4032.

MAX4032 is available in miniature 6-pin SOT23 and SC70 packages, with an extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
