+3 V, +5 V at /250MHz, SOT23 ADC with high-speed inhibition buffer amplifier

description

MAX4285/MAX4286 single and MAX4287/MAX4288/MAX4387/MAX4388 dual ADC buffer amplifiers offer high-speed performance and +3 V single supply operation. MAX4285/MAX4286/MAX4288 and MAX4388 provide a disable function that reduces the supply current and puts the output in a high-impedance state. All six devices operate from a single +2.85 V to +6.5 V supply or ± 1.425 V to ±3.25 V dual supply. The common-mode input voltage range extends to the negative rail (ground in single-supply applications).

These devices require a quiescent supply current of 20 mA per amplifier, while achieving a -3dB bandwidth of 250MHz and a slew rate of 350V/μs. A combined 8ns (0.1%), settling-time, 88dBc SFDR (F=5MHz), up to 100mA output drive makes these amplifiers ideal for high-speed ADC driver communication and instrumentation applications. In addition, when disabled, its high output impedance makes them ideal for multiplexing applications.

MAX4285/MAX4286 are available in space-saving 6-pin SOT23 and 8-pin SO packages. MAX4287/MAX4387 are available in 8-pin μMAX® and 8-pin SO packages, while MAX4288/MAX4388 are available in 10-pin μMAX and 14-pin SO packages.
