Serial control, 4-channel audio/video multiplexer
overview

The MAX4586/MAX4587 serial interface, programmable, 4-1 channel multiplexer is ideal for multimedia applications. They feature a 65Ω resistor, a channel, and a matching resistor between 5Ω resistor flatness and 4Ω. In addition, they feature 83 dB off isolation at 20kHz and 48 dB off isolation at 10MHz, crosstalk at 10MHz with crosstalk of -84dB at 20kHz and -60dB.

THE MAX4586 USES A 2-WIRE, I²C-COMPATIBLE SERIAL INTERFACE, AND THE MAX4587 USES A 3-WIRE SPI™/QSPI/™ MICROWIRE-COMPATIBLE™ INTERFACE. Both devices are available in a 10-pin μMAX® package and are specified over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
