MAX6138C Precision, double-ended parallel mode for reverse breakdown at a fixed 1.2205V

 

description

MAX6138 is a precision, double-ended parallel mode that operates on a fixed reverse breakdown voltage of 1.2205V, 2.048V, 2.5V, 3.0V, 3.3V, 4.096V bandgap voltage reference, and 5.0V. Ideal for space-critical applications, MAX6138 offers an ultra-small 3-pin SC70 in a surface-mount package (1.8 mm x 1.8mm) that is 50% smaller than comparable devices in SOT23 and surface-mount packages.

     
The laser fine-tunes the resistance to ensure precise initial accuracy. With a temperature coefficient of 25ppm/°C, the device offers three levels of initial accuracy ranging from 0.1% to 0.5%. MAX6138 has a low dynamic impedance of 60μA to 15mA current shunt capability, ensuring a wide range of operating temperatures and current-stable reverse breakdown voltage accuracy.

In MAX6138, no external stabilizing capacitors are required, while ensuring stability with capacitive loads. MAX6138 is the LM4040/LM4050 for high-precision equipment in a smaller package ratio.
