Packed with 4 bumps in a 1mm x 1mm UCSP™ package, MAX9515 is an ultra-compact standard-definition video filter amplifier with automatic shutdown.

The automatic shutdown circuit can eliminate the need for shutdown control. This feature provides intelligent power management, disabling filters and output amplifiers in the absence of video input signals and/or video output loads. At shutdown, the device consumes only 5μA.

MAX9515 has an internal reconstruction filter that smooths the steps and reduces the spike of the video signal from the video-to-analog converter (DAC). Reconstruction filters typically have a passband flatness of ±1dB of 9MHz and typically attenuate at 50dB at 27MHz.

Video input to the MAX9515 that can be connected directly to the DAC output. MAX9515 has a PP nominal full-scale video input signal with an internal fixed gain of 2V/V and an expected 1V. MAX9515 is specified to +125°C and the automotive grade temperature range above -40°C.
