MAX9652 3.3V, HD/SD triple filter amplifier with shutdown

description

The MAX9652/MAX9653/MAX9654 are 3.3V, triple-channel, high-definition (HD) video filter amplifiers. Designed for YPbPr component video signals, these devices are ideal for a wide range of set-top box and portable applications. The inputs of the MAX9652/MAX9653/MAX9654 are AC-coupled. Xian, while PBIN and PRIN keyed clamps, have synchronous head clamps. The output buffer has a 2V/V gain and drives a standard 75Ω video load terminated in reverse.

The MAX9654's passband selects logic between standard definition (SD) and high definition. The MAX9652/MAX9653 have a fixed passband HD video. The MAX9654's SD low-pass filter features a passband of ±1 dB to 8.5MHz and an attenuation of 57dB at 27MHz. The MAX9652/MAX9653/MAX9654 HD low-pass filters feature a passband of ±1 dB to 42MHz and 50dB attenuation at 109MHz.

These devices consume only 9.5 mA per channel to operate from a 3.3V supply. The MAX9653/MAX9654 feature a low-power, 12μA shutdown mode. The MAX9652/MAX9653/MAX9654 are specified over the -40°C to +125°C automotive temperature range.
