MAXQ3180 Low power consumption, multi-function, multi-phase AFE
description
MAXQ3180 is a dedicated power measurement front-end that collects and calculates power quality parameters for multiphase voltage, current, power, energy, and many other metered and multiphase loads. The calculation results can be retrieved through an external host via the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI™) bus on the chip. The bus can also be used for operations MAXQ3180 external master configuration and to monitor the status of operations.
MAXQ3180 perform voltage and current measurements, using an integrated ADC that can measure up to 7 external differential signal pairs. The eighth differential signal pair is used to measure the chip temperature. The internal amplifier automatically adjusts the current channel gain to compensate for the signal level of the low current channel.

- SPI-compatible serial interface (low-level IRQ) outputs interrupt requests
- 3.3V single supply, low power consumption (35MW typical)
