MAXQ3183 Low power consumption, multifunctional, multi-phase AFE with harmonic and tamper detection

description

MAXQ3183 is a dedicated power measurement front-end that collects and calculates multiphase voltage, current, power, energy, and many other metered and multiphase load power quality parameters. The calculation results can be retrieved through an external host via the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI™) bus on the chip. The bus can also be used to monitor the operation of the external master configuration MAXQ3183 and to monitor the status of actions.

MAXQ3183 for voltage and current measurements, up to 7 external differential signal pairs can be measured using an integrated ADC. The eighth differential signal pair is used to measure the chip temperature. The internal amplifier automatically adjusts the current channel gain to compensate for the signal level of the low current channel.

3.3V single supply, low power consumption (35MW typical)
