MC33797BPEWR2  Four-channel burst driver ICs

The Quad Pipe Burst Driver IC is a complete ignition diagnostics and deployment interface for automotive airbag modules. Extensive diagnostic and system control functions are incorporated to provide fail-safe operation. The device contains a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)-compatible 8-bit interface that allows for microprocessor control. The device has the ability to use both high-side and low-side ignition drivers on driver ICs located on independent ignition units and can be used with a standard four-channel ignition driver IC or in a cross-coupled state. Temporary short-circuit battery or ground protection against high-side and low-side output drivers.
