MC33810Automotive engine control ICs
The 33810 is an 8-channel output driver IC for automotive engine control applications. The IC includes four integrated low-side drivers and four low-side gate pre-drivers. Low-side drives suitable for driving fuel injectors, solenoids, lamps and relays. The four-door pre-driver ignites the IGBT gate pre-driver, or as a general-purpose MOSFET gate pre-driver. When configured as an ignition IGBT gate pre-driver, enable additional features such as spark duration, dwell time, and transformer current detection
When configured as a universal gate pre-driver, the 33810 provides external MOSFET short-circuit protection, inductive flyback protection, and diagnostics. The device uses an exposed pad SOIC32 pin (0.65mm pitch). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Peculiarity-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Designed to operate in the 4.5 V ≤VPWR≤36 V range Quad-ignition IGBT or MOSFET gate pre-drivers, parallel/SPI and/or PWM control quad injector drivers with parallel/SPI control directly with MCU using 3.3 V/5.0 V SPI protocol Drive current limit for injectors - 4.5A typical VPWR standby current 10μA (typical) for independent fault protection and diagnostic functions
