MC33882PEPIntelligent six-way output switch (on-resistance 0.3 ohms) with SPI and parallel input control
The 33882 is a clever output low-side switch capable of controlling the system's load up to 1.0 A outputs by controlling two serial peripheral interfaces (SPI) and parallel inputs, which makes the device attractive for fault-tolerant system applications. There are two additional 30 mA low-side switches with SPI diagnostic reports (parallel input control). The 33882 is designed to control inductor and incandescent loads directly with an industry-standard microcontroller via SPI. The output configuration is an open-drain power MOSFET that dynamically clamps and current limits internally. The device features a variety of monitoring and protection features, including low standby current, fault status reporting, internal 52 V clamps at each output, output-specific diagnostics, and protection shutdown. In addition, it has a mode when selecting pins to get a dual-input control means.
