MC33975ATEK Multi-switch detection interface with 32 mAh suppression wake-up function
The 33975 is used to detect the closure and opening of 22 switch contacts, with a multi-switch detection interface and suppression wake-up. Open or closed, the state of this switch, is transferred to the microprocessor unit (MCU) via the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The device also features a 22-1 analog multiplexer to read input data as analog. The 33975 device has two modes of operation, normal mode and hibernation. Normal mode allows programming of device and supplies switch contacts and pull-up or pull-down currents to monitor the switch's state changes. The sleep mode provides low quiescent current, which makes the 33975 ideal for automotive and industrial products that require low sleep state current. Freescale offers multiple switches, micellar sweep interface devices. The 33975 device provides the following improvements: (i) a programmable interrupt timer can disable sleep mode, (b) a switch detects a switch with a ground input current of 32 mA and 4.0 mA, (c) the interrupt bit is a reset bit, and (d) the package is a lead-free 32-pin exposed pad. Features -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ design to operate at 5.5 V≤VPWR≤ 28 V switching input voltage range -14 V, 40 V maximum VPWR can be directly connected with the microprocessor using the 3.3 V/5.0 V SPI protocol, selectable state change wake-up, optional wet current (32). mA or 4.0 mA switch to ground input) 8 programmable inputs (switched to battery or ground) 14 switch to ground input VPWR standby current is 100μA typical, VDD standby current is 20μA typical Lead-free package Specified suffix code EK This product is included in Freescale's long-term product availability plan, which is guaranteed to be available for at least 15 years
