MC33999EK 16 output switches with SPI and PWM control

The 33999 is a 16-output low-side switch with a 24-bit serial input control. It is designed for a wide variety of applications, including inductive, incandescent, and LED loads. Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) provides input control and diagnostic readings. The 8 parallel inputs also provide 8 dedicated outputs with direct pulse width modulation (PWM) control. In addition, an outputprogrammable PWM input provides any combination of PWM outputs. The dedicated reset input provides the ability to clear all internal registers and turn off all outputs. The 33999 interfaces directly with the microcontroller and is compatible with both 3.3 V and 5.0 V CMOS logic levels. 33999, which is effective, can be used as an extension and buffer for bus and fault management functions, reducing the fault management burden of the MCU.
