MPC17511 is a monolithic H-bridge control that is ideal for a variety of micro DC motors such as monolithic cameras and optical drives (MO, DVD, CD, etc.) for portable electronic applications. MPC17511 enable and three-state bridge control of H-bridge motor drivers from 2.0 V to 6.8 V and additional outputs for controlling external MOSFETs via a parallel MCU interface (3.0 and 5.0 V compatible logic). The IC can drive a wide range of micromotors with low losses through parallel drives, as each segment has a very efficient PWM control of high-speed drivers with frequencies up to 200 kHz and independent input/output circuitry. The MPC17511 has a low on-resistance of 0.6 ohms (maximum). The device includes an integrated charge pump and level converter gate drive voltage, current protection circuitry, and low-voltage circuitry to avoid fault detection and integration of the device.
