MPI12x Multi-interface controller dedicated integrated circuit chip PA002004

The MPI12x is an application-specific integrated circuit chip with an 8-bit microprocessor communication interface for product development of MPI and profibus-dp slaves. //www.chip100.com/

MPI12x completes information processing, address identification, data security ordering, and protocol processing for Profibus, which is the basic transmission protocol. Token operations, error detection, and data preprocessing are automated, slowing down saturation time tasks and time-consuming computations on the main processor. It supports data transfer rates of up to 12Mbps, integrates Profibus protocol, 4KByte communication RAM, and configurable microprocessor interfaces in hardware, which support the establishment of high-performance MPI applications. In addition, the chip also comes with the Profibus-DP slave core (including DP-V2 service) of the widely used VPC3+C series chips.

The processing interface supports the following common microprocessing series:

Motorola: HC11-, HC16- and HE916

MPI12x development kit PA006200

The development kit consists of the following parts:

  1. PROFIBUS主板，带RS485及光纤接口；
  2. 扩展板，带Atmel 89C5132微处理器（USB C51兼容微处理器，64KB Flash，通过USB的ISP编程）；
  3. MPI固件（C原码）－订货代码：PA007064；
  4. 演示软件（C原码）；
  5. 2片用于测试的VPC3+C芯片；
  6. 基于MPI12x（包括恰当的硬件和软件原码）的、完全即插即用的Profibus-DP从站单元：对Profibus初学者来说是减少开发成本和时间的基本工具
