MPL015A1T1 Small I2C digital barometer

MPL015A is a digital output absolute pressure sensor for a wide range of low-cost applications. The sensor is available in a 5 x 3 x 1.2 mm LGA package for portable electronics and space-constrained applications. It consumes only 5 μA in operating mode and 0.06 μA in shutdown (sleep) mode, making it suitable for battery-powered devices and other low-power applications. The operating temperature is -40°C to +105°C, which can meet the requirements of demanding environments. MPL015A1 uses MEMS pressure sensors with adjustment ICs to provide accurate pressure measurements in the range of 50 to 115 kPa. The integrated ADC provides digital temperature and pressure sensor outputs via an I2C port or SPI. Calibration data is saved in the internal ROM. The host microcontroller uses the raw sensor output to compensate for the compensated absolute pressure. MPL015A pressure sensors are ideal for barometer measurement applications due to their small size, low power consumption, high accuracy, and digital output.
