MPXV7007DP Integrated pressure sensor

 

 

The MPXV7007 Series Small Package (SOP) piezoresistive sensors are the latest monolithic silicon pressure sensors that can be used in a wide range of applications, especially those with microcontrollers or microprocessors with A/D inputs. This patented, single-element sensor combines advanced micromachining techniques, thin film metallization, and bipolar semiconductor processes to provide an accurate high-level analog output signal proportional to the pressure being measured.

MPXV7007 can be used to measure both positive and negative pressures. In addition, the traditional 0V is replaced by a specific 2.5V zero offset, and the new series of sensors allows pressures up to 7kPa per port to be measured and is also suitable for vacuum detection (see transfer function in the datasheet for details).
