MPXV7025GP pressuresensor

The MPXV7025 series of small form factor (SOP) piezoresistive sensors is the latest monolithic silicon pressure sensor that can be used in a wide range of applications, especially those using microcontrollers or microprocessors with A/D inputs. This patented, single-piece sensor combines advanced micromachining techniques, thin-film metallization, and bipolar semiconductor processes to provide an accurate, high-level analog output signal proportional to the pressure being measured. The MPXV7025 can be used to measure both positive and negative pressure. In addition, instead of the conventional 0V with a specific 2.5V zero offset, the new series of sensors allows to measure pressures up to 25 kPa per port and is also suitable for vacuum sensing (see Transfer Functions in the datasheet for details).
