Texas Instruments' MSP430 ultra-low-power microcontroller family includes multiple devices with peripheral sets for a variety of different applications. The architecture, combined with 5 low-power modes, is optimized to implement portablemeasurement applications to extend battery life. These devices feature powerful 16-bit RISC CPUs, 16-bit registers, and help maximize code efficiency constantly.
