Texas Instruments' MSP430 ultra-low-power microcontroller family includes multiple devices with peripheral sets for a variety of different applications. The architecture, with five low-power modes combined, is optimized to achieve extended battery life in portable measurement applications. These devices feature powerful 16-bit RISC CPUs, 16-bit registers, and contribute to maximum code efficiency generators.
