The EpTech NPRO6683 Programmer is a tool tailored for batch programming of NAND Flash, which has the following features:
1. Function introduction
This burner supports fast programming of NAND Flash from 8MByte (64Mbit) to 8GByte (64Gbit), which is suitable for use in mass production of GPS navigators, car computer hosts, MP4, PDAs, learning machines, digital photo frames, hard disk players, high-definition set-top boxes, game consoles, e-books, readers, voice map machines, surveillance machines, encrypted CF cards, encrypted USB flash drives, etc. Flash raw data copy of encrypted SD card and other storage tools (direct PC copy is not available), it has the following characteristics:
1. Adopting the structure design of one support and four, four pieces of NAND Flash can be burned at the same time, and the burning process is verified in real time to absolutely ensure the accuracy of the data;
2. The programming speed is close to the speed limit of NAND Flash, with a 512Mbit small-page Flash speed of about 1.8MByte/s (with verification), an 8Gbit large-page SLC architecture Flash programming speed of about 3MByte/s (with verification), and an 8Gbit large-page MLC architecture Flash programming speed of about 2.5MByte/s (with verification).
3. Standard 4.3-inch ultra-large true color LCD screen, all operations are visualized, touch screen and button dual input mode, no need to connect to the computer, convenient for users to observe the burning process in real time;
4. Support file programming and master copying:
(1) Master copy method: used to copy the content on the user's original Flash to the onboard Flash, and then write the corresponding content on the onboard Flash to an empty Flash;
(2) File mode programming: users can put the specified file on the SD card or the programmer's internal hard disk, and read out the file content in this way and write it to Flash in the specified way (can support special file systems);
5. It can flexibly configure a variety of parameters, such as page reading, page and block content comparison, file generation, bad block scanning, erasing, scanning with data intervals, etc.
(1) For the master copy method, special bad block markers can be set to facilitate the different bad block management methods of different users. And the copy interval can be set, and the user can choose to copy the valid data area, so that the flash time per unit of flash can be reduced when flashing blank sheets later;
(2) The content display of any page of the specified Flash can be read, which is convenient for users to observe the data distribution on Flash in real time;
(3) The specified Flash can be erased independently, the bad blocks of the specified Flash can be scanned independently, and the detailed bad block distribution information can be displayed on the screen;
(4) It can scan blank pages or blank blocks on Flash, which is convenient for users to understand the space usage on the original Flash;
(5) The content of different blocks or pages between two Flashes can be compared, and the differences can be displayed on the screen, and each difference can be browsed in order;
6. The software can be modified according to the user's special requirements, tailored according to your special requirements, the modification cycle does not exceed 3 working days, and the special file system can be customized;
7. Support NAND Flash data programming with operating system, such as the bad block management of Flash partition in the case of XIP/BINFS of WINCE operating system, which solves the problem that the operating system cannot run correctly or the file cannot be read and written normally caused by the simple skipping of bad blocks in the file system partition area of NAND Flash.
