Product Introduction

The OPA380 series of transimpedance amplifiers offer high accuracy, very high speed (90MHz gain bandwidth [GBW]) operation, excellent long-term stability, and very low 1/f noise. It is ideal for applications where high-speed photodiodes are used. The OPA380 has a malfunction voltage of 25μV, an offset drift of 0.1μV/°C, and a bias current of 50pA. Far exceeds the offset, drift, and noise performance of the OPA380, which traditional JFET op amps provide.

The signal bandwidth of a transimpedance amplifier depends heavily on the GBW of the amplifier and the parasitic capacitance of the photodiode, as well as the feedback resistance. The OPA380 achieves 90MHz of GBW > with a resistance bandwidth of 1MHz in most configurations.
