Product Introduction

The OPA2673 provides the needs of emerging powerline modem driver applications with high output current and low distortion. Operating from a single +12 V supply, the low power consumption is 16mA/ch OPA2673 quiescent current provides a very high output current of 700mA. This output current supports even the most demanding larger output currents exceeding 460 mA low harmonic distortion (+25°C minimum value) requirements of powerline modems.

Power control features include allowing system power consumption to be minimized. Two logic control lines allow for four quiescent power settings: full power, 75% of applications with low bias power requirements, 50% bias short cycle power reduction, and proactive offline offline control, even with the current high impedance output pins at large signals.
