The OPA4684 offers a new level of performance in low-power, wideband, current-feedback (cyclic fluidized bed) amplifiers. This circulates fluidized bedaddFor the first time, the amplifier uses an internal closed-loop input buffer stage to enhance performance much better than contemporaneous low-power cyclic fluidized bed amplifiers. While retaining the benefits of very low power consumption, this new architecture provides many of the benefits of a more ideal cyclic fluidized bed amplifier. The closed-loop input stage provides a buffered inductive feedback error current in the inverting input with a very low, linear impedance path. This improved impedance at the inverting input keeps the superior bandwidth much higher yield, improving the limited inverting input linearity to resolve harmonic distortion early.
