Product Introduction

The OPA698 is a wideband, unity-gain stabilized voltage feedback op amp that provides a bipolar output voltage limit. When the driver is controlled with an output voltage with a double buffer limit, it tries to exceed these limits. This new output limits the Building Preservation Limiter offset error of ± 15 mV. The op-amp operates linearly at an output voltage limit of 30 mV.

The narrow range and low nonlinear combination limits offset the ideal linear output range of 100 mV for the allowable limit voltage. A fast 1-ns recovery ensures that the signal from limiting the overload will be a transparent signal channel. In implementing the Limit feature relative to the input/output, the Limit function gives a precision limit for any gain specified and allows the OPA698 to be used in all standard op amp applications.
