Product Introduction

The OPA846 combines a very high gain bandwidth, very low input voltage noise, and large signal performance, while delivering a low 12.6 milliamperes of current for cooling. The classic differential input stage, combined with two forward gain and high-power output stages, gives the OPA846 excellent DC accuracy and extremely low distortion output drive amplifier. The voltage feedback architecture allows all standard operational amplifier applications to be implemented with very high performance.

The combination of low input voltage and current noise, combined with a 1.75GHz gain bandwidth product, makes the OPA846 an ideal amplifier for the wide band-resistance stage. As a voltage gain stage, the optimized OPA846 responds flat at 10 gain and stabilizes down to 7 gain.
