The OPA847 combines a very high gain bandwidth of only 18 mA supply current and large signal performance with an ultra-low input noise voltage (0.85nV)./√Hz)simultaneous use. Where energy saving is key, the OPA847 also includes an optional power supply shutdown pin that, when pulled low, disables the amplifier, reducing supply current to "1% value of power-up". This optional feature may not be connected to ensure proper operation without amplifier power loss is required.

Very low input voltage and current noise and a gain-bandwidth product of 3.9GHz, combined with the OPA847 resistor, make it an ideal amplifier for wideband applications. As a voltage gain stage, the optimized OPA847 has a flat frequency response at a gain of 20th V/V and is stable to a gain as low as +12 V/V
