The PCM3168A and PCM3168A-Q1 are high-performance, single-chip, 24-bit, 6-in/8-out, audio encoders/single-ended and differentially selectable analog inputs and differential outputs. The Decoder (Decoder) six-channel 24-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) uses a Δ-SΣ (ΔΣ) modulator and supports sample rates from 8 kHz to 96 kHz and 16-bit/24-bit width digital audio output on-word audio interfaces. The eight-channel, 24-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) uses a ΔΣ modulator and supports sample rates from 8 kHz to 192 kHz and audio input words on 16-bit/24-bit width digital audio interfaces. Each audio interface supports left-aligned, right-aligned and DSP formats with 16-bit/24-bit word width I 2 choices.
