With an input voltage range of 5.5 V to 14 V, PTH08T210W requires a resistor to set the output voltage over any range of values, and the wide input voltage range of 0.7 V to 3.6 V makes PTH08T210W particularly suitable for advanced computing and server applications that use a loosely regulated 8 V to 12-V intermediate distribution bus.
