The S106 is a bidirectional, single-pole single-throw, normally open multipurpose relay. This circuit is activated at the input to the optocoupled integrated circuit output, allowing one to control both back to the rear end of the thyristor trigger angle. This circuit ensures that under the worst adverse conditions, there are no false triggers and zero voltage windows not exceeding 5V.
