Product Introduction

The SG2524 and SG3524 all incorporate the functions required for the construction of a specified power supply, inverter, or single-chip switching regulator. They can also be used as application control elements for high power output. The SG2524 and SG3524 are designed for any polarity switching regulator, transformer coupled DC-to-DC converter, transformer voltage multiplier and polarity converter application employing fixed frequency, pulse-width modulation (PWM) technology. Complementary outputs allow for single-ended or push-pull applications. Each device includes an on-chip regulator, error amplifier, programmable oscillator, pulse steering trigger, two unsubmitted qualified transistors, high-gain comparator, current limiting, and shutdown circuitry.
