The SG2524 and SG3524 all incorporate the functions required for the construction of a standard power supply, inverter, or single-chip switching regulator. They can also be used as control elements for high power output applications. The SG2524 and SG3524 are designed for any polarity switching regulator, transformer-coupled DC-DC converter, transformer voltage multiplier and polarity converter applications employing fixed frequency, pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques. Complementary outputs allow single-ended or push-pull applications. Each device includes an on-chip regulator, error amplifier, programmable oscillator, pulse steering trigger, two non-commit transistors, high gain comparator, current limit, and shutdown circuitry.
