The SN65HVD230, SN65HVD231, and SN65HVD232 Controller Area Network (CAN) transceivers are designed for use with the Texas Instruments TMS320Lx240x; 3.3 - V, DSP with CAN controller, or device with equivalent academic ability. They are intended to be used in applications where the user complies with the physical layer of CAN serial communication with the ISO 11898 standard. Each CAN transceiver design provides differential transmitting capability, bus and differential receive speeds up to 1 Mbps CAN controller.

Designed to operate in special-harsh environments, these devices feature cross-wire protection, loss of ground and overvoltage protection, over-temperature protection, and a wide common-mode range.
