The SN65HVD61 is designed to meet the requirements of ControlNet coax-based physical layer drivers and receiver circuits.

These devices are mono circuits with a single-node operation or decentralized independent application transceiver.

Pull-up or pull-up transmitter circuits are designed to sink current from the center-tap transformer, providing galvanic isolation from the shared bus.

These devices combine the 120 millivolt ControlNet differential receiver (RX) required for industrial applications.

A secondary school receiver (CD) detects the presence of a valid positive differential signal.

The third signal reception function (SIG) ratio provides an analog output proportional to the differential voltage between XF1 and XF3.
