SN65HVS880 8-channel rated 24V digital input serializer for industrial digital inputs

The SN65HVS880 is a 24-volt, eight-channel digital input for a PC digital input module with high channel density and a PLC-based serial for industrial automation systems. The input sensor output interface of the low-voltage controller at the 24 V field side and at the control end is completed between the combined device with the current isolator. The input signal provides a EN60947-5-2 standard 2- and 3-wire proximity switching current limit, which is then verified by an internal debounce filter. The input switches are characterized by the regulation of the IEC61131-2 type one, two and three sensor switches.

After the application of load and clock signals, the input data is latched to a parallel shift register, which is later isolated by a serial clock to subsequently isolate the serial PLC input.
