SN65HVS885 8-channel wide 0-34V digital input serializer with 5V Vcc for industrial digital inputs

The SN65HVS885 is an eight-channel digital input module for industrial and building automation with high channel density. Operates in the field of accepting input voltages up to 34V from a device with a 5V supply. The high-voltage signal interface between the combined device with the current isolator for the low-voltage signals at the field and controller ends is completed. The input signal current limit is then verified by an internal debounce filter.

In addition, with some external components, the input switch characteristics are configurable for the provisions of the IEC61131-2 Type 1, 2nd and 3rd sensor switches.

Through the application of load and clock signals, the input data is latched to a parallel shift register and a serial synchronous output after the event.
