The SP540 is a single-pole, single-throw, normally open multi-purpose DC solid-state relay. It is used to replace electromechanical relays in critical applications that require fast switching and solid-state reliability. The relay is driven by an integrated circuit with an enhanced DMOS transistor. The integrated circuit is opto-coupled to a light-emitting diode.
