• Product Introduction

The STR-A6100 series is a PRC topology IC (Fixed Downtime and Variable Power-On Time Control) designed for relatively low output power SMPS designs (up to 20 watts on a general-purpose input or 24 watts on a 230 VAC input). The auto-standby function reduces input power consumption to 50 milliwatts in 230 VAC input mode by burst mode operation (which can be stabilized by the auto-bias function to avoid hiccups). Current pattern feedback and cutting-edge blanking keep the entire power supply operation stable. Various protections such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, overload protection, thermal shutdown, and avalanche-guaranteed MOSFETs ensure good system-level reliability
