The STR-A6100 Series is a PRC topology IC (Fixed Downtime and Variable Power-On Time Control) designed for relatively low output power SMPS designs (up to 20 watts on general-purpose input or 24 watts at 230 VAC input). The auto standby function reduces input power consumption to 50 milliwatts in 230 VAC input mode with Burst Mode operation, which can be stabilized by autobias to avoid hiccups. Current-mode feedback and leading-edge blanking stabilize the entire power supply operation. Overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, overload protection, thermal shutdown, and avalanche-guaranteed MOSFETs ensure system-level reliability
