The principle of the closed-loop current sensor invented by VAC is to have a magnetic probe (i.e., a flux gate probe) as a zero-field detector, which is characterized by maximum accuracy in current detection. The electronic components of VAC current sensors are almost entirely concentrated in specialized ICs. All VAC sensors can detect high continuous and peak currents in a compact package size.
