The TAS5102/TAS5103 integrates a stereo digital amplifier power stage with an advanced protection system. The driving TAS5102/TAS5103 is up to 20 W/15 8Ω Bridge Load (BTL) W and low noise per channel integrated in the output, low THD+N performance and low power consumption capability idle.

A low-cost, hi-fi sound system can be built using TI's chipset, including a modulator (e.g., TAS5086) and a TAS5102/TAS5103. The system requires only a simple passive LC filter to demodulate and prove to be EMI compliant to provide high-quality, high-efficiency audio amplification. These devices require two power supplies at 3.3 VREG volts, and up to 23 PVDD five. The TAS5102/TAS5103 does not require a power-up sequence due to internal power-up reset.
