The TAS5122 is a high-performance, integrated stereo digital amplifier power stage designed to drive 6-Speaker up to 30 watts per channel. The device integrates TI's PurePath digital ™ technology and provides high-quality, high-efficiency, true digital audio amplification in a paired PWM digital audio processor (TAS50XX) and a simple passive filter demodulation.

This digital amplifier is generally more than 90% efficient, reducing the size required for both power supplies and heatsinks. Over-current protection, over-temperature protection, and under-voltage protection are built into TAS5122, maintenance, and protection against faulty equipment conditions that may damage system speakers.
