The TAS5162 is a high performance, integrated stereo digital amplifier power stage with a complete protection system. The TAS5162 is capable of driving on 6-Bridging up to load (BTL) to THD = 10% at 210 W per channel, integrating low noise, low THD + N performance at the output without clipping, idle and low power.

A low-cost, hi-fi system can be built using TI's chipset, including a modulator (e.g., TAS5508) and TAS5162.

This system requires only a simple passive LC filter, demodulated and proven EMI compliant to provide high-quality, high-efficiency audio amplification. This device requires both power for 12 GVDD and VDD, in supplies for PVDD V and 50V. The TAS5162 does not require a power-up sequence due to internal power-on reset.
