The TAS5176 is a high-performance 6-channel with a well-established protection system digital amplifier power stage. The TAS5176 is capable of driving 8 -Single-ended subwoofer greater than 25 watts with 10% THD+N performance.

In addition, TAS5176 can drive BTL mode three channels, the same high performance, but with higher power levels. In BTL mode, TAS5176 is capable of driving 8 -10% THD+N performance load greater than 30 watts.

A low-cost, hi-fi sound system can be built using TI's chipset including a modulator (e.g., TAS5086) and TAS5176. This device does not require internal power-on reset due to electrical sequencing.

The TAS5176 needed to provide high-quality, efficient audio amplification at its output with just a simple passive demodulation filter.
