The TAS5414A and TAS5424A are four-channel digital audio amplifiers designed for use with automotive bodies and external amplifier modules. The TAS5414A and TAS5424A provide less than 1% THD+N from a 14.4-V power supply, four channels at 23 W at 4Ω continuously. Each channel can also provide 1% THD+N at 38 W to 2Ω The TAS5414A uses a single-ended analog input, while TAS5424A increases immunity with a differential input of common-mode system noise. The TAS5414A and TAS5424A topology of digital PWM provides significant efficiency gains over traditional linear amplifier solutions. This reduces the power consumed by the amplifier under ten typical factor factor music playback conditions.
