The TAS5706A/B is a 20-watt, high-efficiency, digitally driven audio power amplifier for stereo bridged speakers. Two serial data inputs allow processing of up to four discrete audio channels and seamless integration into most digital audio processors and MPEG decoders, receiving a wide range of input data and clock frequencies. A fully programmable data path allows these channels to be routed to an internal speaker driver or PWM output through a woofer or headphone.

The TAS5706A / B was the only device for a slave to receive all clocks from external sources. The TAS5706A/B operates at 384 kHz switching speeds of 32-, 48-, 96-, and 192 kHz and switches at 352.8 kHz with data transfer rates of 44.1-, 88.2-, and 176.4 kHz. 8 × sampling combined with a fourth-order noise shaper provides a unit noise substrate from 20 Hz and an excellent dynamic range of 20 kHz.
