The TAS5711 is a 20-watt, high-efficiency, digitally driven audio power amplifier for stereo bridged speakers. A serial data input allows for processing up to two independent audio channels and seamless integration into most digital audio processors and MPEG decoders. The device accepts input data and various data rates. A fully programmable data path routes these internal speaker driver channels.

The TAS5711 is a slave to I 2, the only device that receives all clocks from external sources. There is a 384 kHz switching frequency and a 352 kHz switching frequency between the operating TAS5711 PWM carriers, depending on the input sample rate. Oversampling combined with a fourth-order noise shaper provides a unit noise substrate from 20 Hz and an excellent dynamic range of 20 kHz.
