Product Introduction

The THS6184 is a dual-port, low-power differential line driver with a current feedback amplifier ideal for systems with xDSL systems. Its ultra-low power consumption is ideal for ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+, and ADSL2++ systems that must achieve high density in ADSL local applications that must be combined into a pack of two ports, or four amplifiers.

The unique architecture of the THS6184 allows for high linearity with a high level of linearity that allows for pruning quiescent currents that remain lower than existing line drivers. At these low power levels is good distortion-83-dBc total harmonic distortion at 1 MHz and 4.2 mA/port in low-bias mode. Fixed and variable multi-bias amplifier setups allow for no savings for enhanced power cord length at the full performance of the amplifier.
