Product Introduction

The THS6204 is a dual-port, current-feedback, differential-line drive amplifier ideal for systems with xDSL systems. The device is intended for line driver systems used in VDSL2 (very high bitrate digital subscriber line 2), enabling lines greater than 20.5 dBm of power to achieve a good linear 8.5MHz with 8B profiles supporting G.993.2 VDSL2. It is also fast enough to support 14.5 dBm of local line power up to 18.1MHz and 30A transmission.

The unique architecture of the THS6204 allows quiescent currents to be minimal while also achieving very high linearity. Under the distortion condition of the fully partial differential equation, it is -89dBc, and the 1MHz of 10MHz is reduced to only -73dBc. The bias setting of the fixed amplifier allows for more enhanced power cord length without saving on the full performance of the amplifier.
