These devices are low-cost, high-speed, internally trimmed input offset voltage dual JFET input operational amplifiers (BI-FET II™ technology). They require low supply current while maintaining a large gain-bandwidth product and fast slew rate. In addition, well-matched high voltage JFET input devices provide very low input bias and bias currents. The TL082 is a pin-compatible standard LM1558 that allows designers to immediately upgrade the overall performance of the existing LM1558 and the most LM358 designs.
These amplifiers can be used in applications requiring low input offset voltage, low input bias current, high input impedance, high slew rate, and high bandwidth such as high-speed integration, fast D/A conversion, sample-and-hold circuits, and many others. The device also features low noise and offset voltage drift.
