Description/Ordering Information
The TL2575 and TL2575HV greatly simplify the design of switching power supplies required to provide all the positive effects in the buck (buck) switching regulator integrated circuit. Accepting a wide input voltage range up to 60 volts (HV version) and fixed output voltages at 3.3 volts, 5 volts, 12 volts, 15 volts, or adjustable output versions, the TL2575 and TL2575HV are capable of boasting a complete switch delivering 1 load current with excellent line and load regulation. The device also provides internal frequency compensation, fixed frequency oscillator, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal shutdown. In addition, manual shutdown can also be done externallyON/ OFF terminal.
The TL2575 and TL2575HV represent superior alternatives to popular three-terminal linear regulators. Due to its high efficiency, the size of the device's heatsink is greatly reduced, and in many cases, the absence of a heatsink is necessary. Optimized for standard series inductors available from several different manufacturers, the TL2575 and TL2575HV are greatly simplified, specifying only 4 to 6 operating external components in addition to a switch-mode power supply design.
